Perfect beach escape on the Costa del Sol
The beaches here are just brilliant. Playa de La Carihuela is clean, the water is warm, and there's always a spot to set up for the day. The seafood restaurants right on the sand are great too - fresh fish, cold beer, can't ask for more.
Great place to unwind in the sun
Came here for a bit of winter sun and it delivered. The weather in February was mild enough to sit outside and have a coffee along the seafront promenade. Very relaxed pace, locals are welcoming, and the espeto de sardinas are an absolute must-try.
Loved every bit of it
Such a good spot for a proper holiday. The old Pueblo Blanco area up on the hill is really worth exploring - totally different feel from the beach strip below. Cheap tapas bars, narrow streets, and actual locals going about their day. Really enjoyable.
Sun, sea and really good food
We go to Spain a lot but this was our first time in Torremolinos and we were not disappointed. Calle San Miguel is fun for an evening stroll - loads of bars and little shops. The fried pescaito from one of the beach chiringuitos was some of the best we've had anywhere in Spain.
Good value and good weather
December here is genuinely pleasant. Mild, sunny most days, and far fewer crowds than in peak summer. Walked along the Paseo Maritimo most mornings with a coffee and it never got old. Prices for food and drinks are very reasonable compared to other coastal resorts.
Classic summer holiday done right
Exactly what we needed - sun, sand, and zero stress. The beach is wide and well kept, and there are plenty of sunbed rentals along the front. Kids loved it too. La Carihuela beachfront at sunset is genuinely stunning. Good spot for families.
